Comrade AdeyePresident-Electtus Commends Akure Stakeholders on Support for Free JAMB Registration for Indigent Students
FamousNews is pleased to report on the commendable engagement between our correspondent and the National President-elect of the National Association of Akure Students (NAAS), Comrade Adeyemi Temitope Festus, regarding the ongoing initiative to provide free JAMB forms for indigent students in Akure South Local Government.
During the interaction, Comrade Adeyemi expressed deep appreciation for the support received from Akure stakeholders in driving the initiative. He particularly acknowledged the generous donation of 10 JAMB registration slots by Engineer Oluwalade Temiloluwa (Engr. Temmy), following the exemplary leadership displayed by the Minority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olajide Johnson (Oshaprapra). Hon. Johnson, who represents Akure South Constituency 1, kickstarted the initiative with a donation of 10 free JAMB registration slots, also knowledge the interest of the Chief Press Secretary to Ondo State Governor, Hon. Adeniyan Ebenezer towards the initiative.
In his remarks, Comrade Adeyemi emphasized the importance of collective support to achieve the target of assisting over 100 indigent secondary school students in Akure South Local Government. He noted that this initiative would play a pivotal role in helping beneficiaries pursue their academic aspirations at higher institutions.
Comrade Adeyemi called on well-meaning individuals, corporate organizations, and other stakeholders to contribute to the initiative, underscoring the transformative impact it would have on the lives of the beneficiaries and the community at large.
“This initiative is a step toward breaking the cycle of more stakeholders to join us in this noble cause to ensure we meet our target and empower our future leaders,” he stated.
