In response to the yearnings of the farmers in Iju, Hon. Ogunbolude Johnson today commenced the grading of the road popularly called Onause. This exercise formed part of his campaign promises before he was elected as chairman of the Akure North Local Government.
The grading of this road, which is long overdue, got the attention of the chairman because Iju is noted for farming activities as an agrarian community. This will make transportation of farm products out of the various farm settlements along this road become easier and will drastically reduce wastage. It will also motivate our teaming youth to venture into agro- business.
Hon. Ogunbolude Johnson promised to extend the exercise to roads within the communities across Akure North Local Government. He solicited for patience from the citizens stating he is leaving no stone unturned in order to deliver the dividends of democracy to the good people of Akure North Local Government.
